Tim Baker
Tim Baker is a singer-songwriter from the friendliest province of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador. The earth loving, earnest singer played over 800 shows with Hey Rosetta!, prior to their hiatus and his 2019 solo debut on Arts & Crafts. During the pandemic, Baker created a recording studio at the then covid-closed Fogo Island Hotel, a world famous, futuristic building on an isolated island in the North Atlantic. What came of those sessions is Baker's sophomore LP - with Randy Newman flavored ballads, Animal Collective rhythms, and lush arrangements heard on recent Father John Misty albums. "The Festival'', produced by Baker and long-time collaborator, Marcus Paquin (The Weather Station, The National) and mixed by DJ Goodwin (Bob Weir, Kevin Morby) in New York will be released in Fall 2022.
