Amanda is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and percussionist, known as one of the Bay Area’s most sought-after artists. Inspired by '90s neo-soul and hip-hop, Amanda invents soulful soundscapes while blending elements of jazz with R&B rhythms, pushing the boundaries of contemporary music. Originally from Sylmar, California, she moved to San Francisco to study under Dr. John Calloway at San Francisco State University. Since then, Amanda’s musical career has flourished, leading to the release of her 2024 EP, ART THERAPY. Featuring original compositions by Amanda, ART THERAPY offers a deep, authentic exploration of love, sex, and adulthood, with raw lyricism and honesty that encourage listeners to embrace the full spectrum of emotions that life brings. Drawing inspiration from visionaries like Beyoncé and Hiatus Kaiyote, this project showcases Amanda’s unique artistry and has become one of the Bay Area’s most exciting new projects, both live and in the studio. Amanda’s musical journey has been marked by performing as a percussionist at The Fillmore and Outside Lands. She has also showcased her vocal talent at Carnaval San Francisco and in a guest appearance with Aaron Frazer at The Wiltern.
