Dani Offline

Dani Offline is an Oakland-based songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, weaving jazz and R&B sensibilities with an expertise only explained through the masterful musicality of her influences: D’Angelo, Sarah Vaughan, Jill Scott, Hiatus Kaiyote, Minnie Riperton. Intertwining intricate production, poetic lyricism, and her elastic voice, Dani’s music is an invitation to tumble into a dreamscape, each song evocative and realer than the waking world.

Her debut EP Mirror (2023) has amassed a fervent following, with its breakout track “plastic/bending” garnering over 300,000 streams and features in The FADER, Earmilk, Spotify’s Fresh Finds R&B, and KQED’s All Things Considered (NPR). On stage, Dani Offline has become a standout presence in the Bay Area’s live music scene, performing to sold-out crowds at The Chapel, The Independent, and Rickshaw Stop. She’s shared stages with Madison McFerrin, Jordan Mackampa, and recently sold out two nights at SFJAZZ as part of the 2024 Noise Pop Festival. Following the release of her latest single “desire (say you want me)”—the lead track from her forthcoming debut LP Lover’s Discourse—Dani is poised for a breakout year.
