With the release of their latest EP “While We Were Away,” Oakland-based Indigo Elephant have understood the core of their songwriting and taken a step towards not just emotional maturity, but clarity. The passion project of drummer Julius Pasion, bassist/vocalist Cliff Yang, and multi- instrumentalist/vocalist Brenden Phung, Indigo Elephant writes songs that brim with confidence, creating an eclectic mix of indie rock, pop, post-punk, and funk.
