Sophia James
Sydney born, Long Beach raised, Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Sophia James lives in between the lines, and her music is no different. Since the release of her first single in 2020, she’s amassed over 24 million streams by blending indie pop, folk, jazz, and rock into a singular sound.
Equally comfortable performing with a full band, solo, or with a looping machine, she has toured extensively and opened for artists such as Eloise, Jensen McRae, Cannons, Couch and recently finished up a world tour as a supporting act and band member for Ben Barnes.
Now, she’s diving into her most creative project yet - working on an alt-rock leaning, pop-influenced album with Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Alex Bilowitz.
