Birdtalker

November 14, 2024 - Indie/folk group Birdtalker released today their new album All Means, No End through Tone Tree Music. Their third full-length effort, All Means, No End finds the Nashville-based quartet teaming up with a new collaborator, Louis Johnson (LONAS), who produced, engineered, and helped co-write the album.

“We are very proud and excited to be releasing our third full-length album,” stated the band. “Working with a new collaborator has infused our creative process with fresh energy, and we believe our patience with the process has produced songs that are chock full of energy, sincerity, and joy. We released five singles throughout this year leading up to the full album release. We have toured across the US this year with several sold out shows. We will continue touring the new record across the US next year, with plans to take the tour to Europe as well. And the writing process for the next project has already begun!”

Fronted by Zack and Dani Green along with Brian Seligman and Chris Wilson, Birdtalker made their whirlwind debut in 2018 with One featuring their breakout single "Heavy" (now over 95 million streams worldwide). Rolling Stone hailed it as “infectious and sprightly” and NPR Music called it “such a beautiful record” while also earning similar praises from Billboard, World Cafe, American Songwriter, and Relix among others. The release led to non-stop touring, festival appearances, and even their debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry. They followed that up in 2021 with their anticipated sophomore album Birdtalker, which was met with further critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Paste, Relix, PopMatters, The Boot, The Bluegrass Situation, Americana Highways, American Songwriter, Under The Radar, and more. John Mayer featured one of their latest songs, Season Of Charade, on his SiriusXM Show, stating "the whole thing is fantastic."

Boy Golden

Boy Golden found immediate success on his debut LP Church of Better Daze, which contained the breakout, chart-topping mono-mixed guide to low budget living, “KD and Lunch Meat.” His first headline tours saw sell-outs across the country, with festival appearances including Winnipeg Folk Fest, Osheaga, Edmonton and Calgary Folk Festivals, Rifflandia, Saskatoon Jazz Festival and more. Boy Golden’s charmingly chameleonic sound makes him just as welcome at a country festival as he is at a rock show. Subsequent tours with Sheepdogs, The Paper Kites, Lucero and more and a breakout appearance at AmericanaFest 2023 have spread the Church of Better Daze gospel of good times far and wide.

Boy Golden, one and the same as producer Liam Duncan, is adept in modern studio techniques and analog recording alike. His most recent JUNO Award nominated album, For Eden, was recorded entirely to cassette. Both a songwriting and studio wiz, Boy Golden honed his skills developing his own musical identity, leading a crackerjack band of Winnipeg talent collectively known as the Church of Better Daze, and steering countless solo projects by these friends and collaborators. Production credits include William Prince, Cat Clyde, FONTINE and more. 2025 is dedicated to creating new music, with Boy Golden headed into the studio with famed producer Robbie Lackritz (Feist, Bahamas, The Weather Station) following an extended writing residency in Nashville.
