Jake Minch

Jake Minch writes songs with a novelist’s eye for detail, commitment to craft, and sense of intention.

When you listen to him, you can practically smell the smoke from the night’s last Marlboro Red as he exhales confessions over emotionally-charged guitar. He never shies away from telling raw and real stories.

Unafraid to confront truth head-on, he captures those feelings akin to watching an ex walk away in the rain for the final time or losing a loved one.

By his early twenties, Jake’s poignant lyricism had started resonating with fans across the globe.

The Connecticut-born singer, songwriter, and multi- instrumentalist broke through with “handgun” in 2023, generating 4 million-plus streams and paving the way for his debut how many EP.

He captivated crowds at shows with everyone from Jeremy Zucker to The Head and the Heart, Grace Enger and Alix Page. The three-track bundle jessie maintained his moment in 2024.

The title track went viral when country superstar Zach Bryan shared it on IG, while Ones To Watch raved, “These three relatable tracks are heaven for fans of confessional indie folk and those who love to see dark themes transformed into something beautiful.”

He got into “album mode” that same year.

At the time, he listened to everyone from Bright Eyes and Phantom Planet to Adrianne Lenker and found the perfect collaborator in iconic producer Tony Berg [Phoebe Bridgers, Taylor Swift].

Now, his words cut right to the core on his new single “Fingers and Clothes,” a track that starts off chronicling Jake’s struggle to give up cigarettes and veers into a past relationship infiltrating his current love life.

The song is on his forthcoming full-length debut, George, out July 11 [2for2 projects/Mercury Records].

He’ll share the album with fans across North America on his headline tour this August.
