Best in The Bay is a highly curated music showcase and entertainment industry night bringing out The Bay's best and brightest across music, entertainment, media, and nightlife. Experience exciting live performances from rising artists in The Bay, while connecting with professional creatives in a fun and vibrant environment!
 
Whether you're a fellow artist trying to meet new collaborators, a talent scout searching for the next star, an industry exec looking to build key partnerships, or you're just a fan of good vibes and great music, this is for you! Join us for our biggest night of the year as part of SF Music Week's official programming - you're not going to want to miss this!
 
Run of Show:
7:00pm - Doors Open
7:15pm - Open Mic Portion (First Come, First Serve - Limited Spots)
8:15pm - Curated Artist Showcase (Live Performances featuring Rising Stars)
10:00pm - Curtains Close


For any event that is listed as 18 or 21 and over, ANY ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.  Any event listed as All Ages, means 6 years of age or older.  ALL tickets are standing room only unless otherwise specified.  If you need special accomidation, contact info@cafedunord.com.

Katie Paige


Katie Paige is an East Bay artist whose music blends soul, R&B, and raw storytelling. Her sound is honest, cinematic, and deeply rooted in lived experience: grief, love, resilience, and growth. Her goal is simple: to make music that people don’t just hear, but feel.

GiveIt2emLaLa

LaLa, aka Giveit2emLaLa, is a multifaceted female rapper from East Oakland, California. LaLa is fierce, seasoned, and above all, a mother. She uses her talent as an example to her daughters that there is no expiration on your gifts or your dreams, and you can be whatever you want.
 

Ian Kelly

Ian Kelly is a rapper and storyteller from Oakland, CA, known for his soulful lyricism and commanding stage presence. His project KELLS IS D.E.A.D. was named one of KQED’s Top 10 Bay Area Albums, followed by Soulful Of It, which led to appearances on Sway in the Morning, Ebro’s Apple Music show, and performances alongside artists like Robert Glasper.
His music has been featured on Madden 22 and Hulu’s Homeroom, and his 2024 EPs ART and A Summer Pack With Love continued to solidify his reputation as one of the Bay Area’s most compelling voices in hip-hop today!

Jamel Griot is a Hip-Hop/Soul artist & poet from the Bay Area. He uses his music as a platform for vulnerability as he guides his listeners through and beyond the state of trauma with poetic lyricism and tales of duality.
 

Kiyomi

Repping Union City, CA, Kiyomi is an independent artist making waves in the industry with her captivating vocals, infectious melodies, and undeniable presence. Her sound is fresh, her message is powerful, and her energy is all her own.
Through every lyric, Kiyomi encourages listeners to embrace their truth, trust the process, and move with purpose.

Derrick Nealy

Derrick Nealy is an Atlanta R&B artist blending smooth vocals, dance-driven energy, and modern hip-hop attitude. Known for records like WYA Bae, BDT, and STONEKOLD, he creates feel-good, cinematic moments that live equally on the stage, screen, and in your headphones.
 

Randy McPhly

Randy McPhly is an artist, host, and the creator of The Office Hours Studio. Through his work, Randy has built a platform dedicated to live performance, artist collaboration, and documenting the voices shaping the Bay Area today. His approach centers on creating intentional spaces where artists can show up fully and be captured in their truest form.
Randy brings a strong creative vision and a deep commitment to preserving and elevating Bay Area culture. His work continues to help create meaningful opportunities for artists while contributing to a growing archive of the region’s sound and identity.

DJ Clo Money

DJ Clo Money is a born and raised San Francisco DJ bringing high energy, culture, and crowd control to every stage she touches. With 3–4 years behind the decks, she specializes in Hip Hop and R&B, blending nostalgic hits with new wave bangers that keep the room moving.
She is proudly the official tour DJ for Lil Kayla, rocking arenas and major stages while continuing to build her name across the Bay and beyond. Whether it’s a club, concert, or community event, DJ Clo Money delivers unforgettable vibes every time.
