Cryogeyser

Cryogeyser’s music operates in the space between tension and release, capturing the liminal moments where human experiences are most vulnerable and profound. Formed in Los Angeles in 2018, the trio—Shawn Marom (vocals, guitar), Zach CapittiFenton (drums, production), and Samson Klitsner (bass)—fortifies the foundation of lived experiences with a commitment to deep sonic influences, exploring the complexities of relationships, identity, and what happens in between. Cryogeyser’s first three albums have been characterized by a blend of shoegaze, grunge, dream pop, and alternative rock, with each track functioning like a case study in resonance. Albums such as Glitch (2019), Love Is Land (2020), and timetetheredtogether (2021) act as carefully constructed narratives that invite listeners to engage with the ongoing shuffle of loss and acceptance, love and longing.   As Cryogeyser moves forward, they find themselves at a pivotal moment, both creatively and personally. With the addition of CapittiFenton and Klitsner, the band has embraced a new chapter marked by self-production and a refined focus on their core sound. Their most recent recordings, crafted after three years of introspective silence, embody a commitment to both their influences and the evolution of their sound—a conscientious homage to the past while engaging with the infinite but elusive future.   Cryogeyser embarked on a successful full US headline tour (2023) that was immediately followed by a month-long run of shows with the beloved North Caroline indie rockers Wednesday. Cryogeyser has since toured with bands such as Horse Jumper of Love, Citizen, Pond, Narrow Head, Modern Color, and Squirrel Flower. They have also played with A Place to Bury Strangers, Diiv, Julie, Ringo Deathstarr, They are Gutting a Body of Water (TAGABOW), Milly, Goon, Draag, and others.
