YellowWood Junction

Yellowwood Junction is where poetic lyricism meets lush instrumentation—an indie folk-rock band that thrives at the intersection of introspection and groove. Known for their haunting harmonies, evocative melodies, and magnetic live performances, the band crafts songs that feel both cinematic and deeply personal.

Rooted in storytelling but untethered by genre, Yellowwood Junction blends elements of folk, rock, soul, and a touch of psychedelia to create a sound that’s entirely their own. Their music explores the edges of love, longing, transformation, and resilience—inviting listeners on a journey through emotional landscapes as vivid as they are raw.

Born from friendship, late-night creative sparks, and a shared obsession with honest music, Yellowwood Junction is less about labels and more about connection—between bandmates, between sound and soul, and between the music and everyone who finds themselves in it.

YellowWood Junction was formed in San Francisco in the Summer of 1993  This six piece band toured extensively, building a solid audience in Colorado, Washington, Oregon and California. They were voted one of the Bay Area's most promising un-signed bands by KFOG in 1994. Music Available on iTunes, Spotify, and more.
