Raised in northern Indiana, she formed her first band in high school before moving to Nashville to study at Belmont University, where she earned a degree in songwriting. Her breakout single “good girls” introduced millions of listeners to the personal, slightly offbeat world behind her music.
She carried that momentum through “The Poet and Her Vice (Happy Ending),” “Dog Prophecies,” and “Gravedigger,” into her 2026 EP Greetings From Bleak St. Its standout track, “Chemical Light,” has sparked another wave of attention online and pushed her audience higher still.
