Join us for a night of stand-up comedy to celebrate the release of Zach Zimmerman’s first book Is It Hot in Here? (Or Am I Suffering for All Eternity for the Sins I Committed on Earth).

Zach Zimmerman is a stand-up comedian and writer who was named a USA Today Comedian to Watch, TimeOut NY Comic to watch, and recently appeared on The Late Late Show. In New York, Zach performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar and co-hosts the Vulture + Union Hall show Pretty Major with Jay Jurden. Zach’s writing has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney's, and The Washington Post, and Zach’s first book, Is It Hot in Here? (Or Am I Suffering for All Eternity for the Sins I Committed on Earth) is available everywhere April 18, 2023.

Zach Zimmerman
Zach Zimmerman is a stand-up comedian, screenwriter, humorist, and essayist, who writes queer, anti-capitalist stories that delight and devastate. As a stand-up, Zach was named a TimeOut NY Comic to Watch, New York Comedy Festival NY Funniest Finalist, and performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar and co-hosts Vulture and Union's Hall's flagship show Pretty Major. Zach's viral TikTok and Instagram clips have garnered them acclaim as a USA Today Comedian to Watch and a feature in Out. Zach had a Billboard Top 10 charting first comedy album “Clean Comedy." Zach's first book Is It Hot in Here? Or Am I Suffering for All Eternity for the Sins I Committed on Earth?(Chronicle Books, 2023) is a collection of essays on identity, sex, death, and religion, that has been optioned for TV and film by Sony Pictures. Zach is a regular contributor to The New Yorker and has been published by McSweeney's, Popula, and The Washington Post. As a screenwriter, recent digital credits include projects for Scruff and HBO Max Human By Orientation, and Zach currently has a blind script deal with the comedy division of Sony Pictures Television.
