Gavin Magnus is entering a new chapter with his most personal project to date. Written during a period of major change as he turned 18, the EP Locked In reflects heartbreak, growing pains, and the emotional highs and lows that come with young love and public relationships. The music pulls directly from real experiences, touching on depression, healing, and the process of figuring out who you are while everything around you is shifting.

Blending pop, RCB, and hip-hop influences, Locked In moves between vulnerable moments and high-energy, release-driven tracks. “Broken” looks back on first love and the memories that shape emotional scars, while the title track “Locked In” captures the reckless confidence and freedom of this era and has already gained strong traction with millions of streams and widespread attention across social platforms. “Lifeline” marks a turning point in the story, centered on falling in love and finding stability when life feels upside down.

Other tracks continue to expand the emotional arc of the project. “Slowly” focuses on trust and taking the time to build something real, while “Freakin Out” explores overthinking and emotional vulnerability within a relationship. “Side by Side” leans into loyalty and reassurance, emphasizing the idea that love can ground you no matter what. “Take Me Higher” reflects personal and career growth, breaking away from the past and stepping into a long-awaited moment, while “Go Get It” delivers an upbeat celebration of love and mutual support.

The rollout for Locked In began January 16 with the release of the “Lifeline” video and EP pre-save. “Take Me Higher” followed as the next single on January 30, with the full EP releasing on March 20th.
